The Maternity Foundation, in collaboration with the University of Copenhagen, Laerdal Global Health, ICM, and UNFPA, developed a COVID-19 module for the Safe Delivery App. This module provides skilled birth attendants with crucial information, animated video instructions, and checklists aimed at preventing COVID-19 transmission in healthcare environments. It covers topics such as infection prevention, breastfeeding, and vertical transmission of the virus, focusing primarily on maternal and child health as well as communicable diseases.
