Summary
From 2015 to 2019, RTI International, with funding from the CDC, was involved in the Global Health Security Agenda project in Guinea, focusing on strengthening the Ministry of Health and Hygiene's disease surveillance system. The project aimed to enhance the prevention, detection, and response to disease outbreaks. RTI supported the implementation of the DHIS 2 system for nationwide epidemiological disease surveillance, which included features for aggregate weekly reporting and case notifications. The initiative primarily targeted communicable diseases as well as maternal and child health.
