In March and April 2019, Mozambique experienced devastating impacts from Cyclone Idai and Cyclone Kenneth, leading to significant loss of life and property. Cyclone Idai was particularly noted as Africa's largest natural disaster in over 25 years. In response, the National Institute of Health collaborated with Zenysis to handle extensive data related to the crisis. The Zenysis platform produced critical epidemiological bulletins, situational reports, and analytics that guided emergency health discussions and decision-making. It played a key role in securing cholera vaccines and determining vaccination sites. Furthermore, Zenysis's outbreak investigation tool is currently utilized for monitoring and addressing public health threats, focusing on areas such as health promotion, environmental health, and communicable diseases.
