eSIP-Saúde is an innovative initiative in Mozambique focused on creating a sustainable human resources information system (HRIS) for the health sector. Despite significant investments over the last ten years by governments and partners to collect health workforce data, documented experiences related to improving strategic planning remain scarce. This case presentation showcases Mozambique's distinctive approach to HRIS, outlining key success factors and contributing to a broader understanding of health workforce management systems globally.
