Summary
The inSCALE APE CommCare app is a mobile application developed to support Community Health Workers (APEs) in their efforts to assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients with conditions such as diarrhoea, pneumonia, malaria, and malnutrition. It features visual and audio prompts, as well as tools to monitor vaccination status. Launched in 2016, the app has been further expanded and scaled through the upSCALE initiative, with a focus on maternal and child health.
