Summary
In late 2014, workshops and meetings were held with stakeholders and experts to define the system and functional requirements for the electronic Logistics Management Information System (LMIS) in Côte d'Ivoire. The objective of eSIGL is to enable direct customers, such as health districts and hospitals, to place orders and submit drug management reports to the Central Medical Store (NPSP-CI). The health focus areas encompassed by this system include communicable diseases, sexual and reproductive health, maternal and child health, vaccination/immunization, and other health concerns.
