Summary
The SIIL system, developed by AMP in collaboration with the Beninese government, aims to improve electronic data collection through the informed push system. It is a tailored version of the OpenLMIS software designed to address logistical issues. An evaluation revealed notable enhancements in immunization logistics at the Comé site, leading the Benin Ministry of Health to adopt the system nationwide. In 2016 and 2017, the system was further expanded, reaching 10 additional health zones. Key health focus areas include Vaccination/Immunization, Sexual and Reproductive Health, Maternal and Child Health, Communicable Diseases, and others.
