The eLMIS FE system has been upgraded from a Java Swing client-server application to a web-based two-tier system utilizing a PostgreSQL database. It functions on local area networks (LAN) within health facilities, enabling multiple users to simultaneously access the application without requiring internet connectivity. The system also provides offline access and is capable of generating monthly reports and requisitions (R&R).
