The strategic orientations aim to strengthen knowledge of populations for sustainable management of health and well-being. They include developing the skills of players and diversifying health services (preventive, curative, promotional, palliative) at home and in communities. Product distribution is community-based, supported by a funding strategy for mobilization. A community-based monitoring and surveillance system is set up to manage diseases and epidemics of human, animal, environmental and plant origin. Priority health areas include communicable diseases, maternal and child health, and health promotion.
