The Medical Laboratory department has implemented a system designed to improve efficiency by streamlining lab and billing processes, ensuring accurate and timely lab services, enhancing patient data management, increasing revenue, and reducing costs. Around 10 users operate this system, which incorporates various functions such as Patient Management, Laboratory sample management, Reporting, Billing, Health Insurance management, Appointment management, and data exchange with the organization's general accounting system. The setup employs OpenSuse Linux for the server, Microsoft Windows 7/10 for client machines, PostgreSQL for the database, and Tryton-ERP. The health focus areas of the laboratory include Sexual and Reproductive Health, Maternal and Child Health, Health Promotion, Communicable Diseases, Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), Cancer, and Oral Health.
