Maternal mortality remains a serious global problem, highlighted in the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals due to its alarming rates, with one woman dying every two minutes from pregnancy complications. A project in Colombia seeks to address this issue through a comprehensive care model for patients at high obstetric risk, using advanced technology and home monitoring. This approach is being developed in three stages: generation of computational phenotypes, integration of biomedical equipment, and a cohort study, with the aim of reducing maternal mortality from preventable causes. The project's focus areas include maternal and child health and health promotion.
