Preterm infants face a significant risk of long-term developmental disabilities, impacting their academic, cognitive, social, and behavioral skills. Current care in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) is often unstandardized, lacks individualized attention and adequate documentation, and is hindered by a shortage of trained staff. This situation leads to a reliance on post-discharge interventions rather than comprehensive, evidence-based management. To address these challenges, the INDIA EBUS application has been proposed. This cloud-based tool is designed for individualized newborn developmental interventions, focusing on providing specific, measurable, accountable, and realistic care solutions. The application emphasizes key health areas including environmental health, maternal and child health, mental health, health promotion, and management of chronic conditions and disabilities.
