Summary
The French Safe Delivery App was launched in Haho prefecture as part of PlanBornefonden's DI 2018 Project to support skilled birth attendants. A trainer of trainers (TOT) session was held in August 2018, followed by knowledge and confidence surveys in September. By February 2020, the App garnered over 350 downloads, particularly in Haho and areas like Lomé and Kara, where partner organizations were engaged. A pilot study with 47 midwives in Haho indicated a significant improvement in clinical knowledge and confidence by the project's end-line. The health focus areas include maternal and child health, as well as health promotion.
