Summary
The Prevention Pack program aims to improve access to HIV prophylaxis, emergency contraception, and antibiotics for survivors of rape. It combines community education with a post-rape medical kit and a GPS-based inventory system, Logistimo. Since its launch in 2013 in South Kivu Province, the initiative has expanded from 12 to 111 locations, in partnership with the Panzi Foundation, IMA World Health, and the Ministry of Health. Daily inventory monitoring helps manage demand and prevent stockouts while highlighting trends in gender-based violence (GBV). Additionally, the GBV Tracker, which is funded for data visualization, seeks to enhance coordination and support policymakers by illustrating the extent of GBV.
