Summary
The THRIVE project in Honduras tackles low dietary diversity and food insecurity through a mobile Household Participating Tracking System (HPTS) developed using KoBoToolbox. Community volunteers gather essential data, including images and GPS information, with smartphones, which is then transmitted to the HPTS. This information is analyzed and showcased on an interactive Power BI dashboard for effective visualization of performance indicators and beneficiary participation. The real-time data enables the project team to respond more quickly to community needs. Supported by World Vision United States, the THRIVE project is expanding its reach to more underserved communities, focusing on health areas such as environmental health, chronic conditions, and disabilities.
