SPICE, in collaboration with the Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG), has been implemented in over 75 facilities and communities since 2022 to manage diabetes and hypertension, with a transition to CHAG for ongoing use following a sustainability training phase. Additionally, in partnership with the Ghana Health Service, SPICE is being used in communities and CHPS compounds in the Upper East Region to detect early pregnancy warning signs and facilitate care referrals. Community members are also being screened, diagnosed, and referred for diabetes and hypertension management, with a focus on maternal and child health and non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
