Summary
Caris implemented CommCare to enable community health workers (CHWs) to collect HIV healthcare data offline in remote areas. They utilized OpenFn for real-time data integration, automatically processing and uploading data from approximately 5,000 monthly HIV visits to a central MySQL database in Haiti. This system allows the Caris Foundation to monitor the progress of mothers and children in real-time as services are provided. The health focus areas include communicable diseases, health promotion, and other related aspects.
