Summary
M-Sawazisha is an initiative designed to support community health volunteers (CHVs) in the Mathare area of Nairobi. The program focuses on aiding CHVs in registering new pregnancies, tracking antenatal care (ANC) visits, reporting deliveries, and addressing postpartum care and family planning inquiries. It involves collaboration with HealthRight International to confirm project facilities. Over six months, 100 CHVs will be trained, with 25 participants selected from each of four key health facilities. Additionally, CHVs will promote Nutrition and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) messages within the community, emphasizing maternal and child health as key focus areas.
