The Telemedicine and Health Informatics Program project in Nepal proposes a hybrid model combining computer-based telemedicine and mobile phone-based consultation. The computer-based component involves a Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS), digital cameras, and internet connectivity at outreach centers. This will be supplemented by the continuation of existing mobile teleconsultation services. The project began on March 7, 2021, and aims to enhance healthcare delivery through these integrated digital solutions. The intervention is categorized under "Others," focusing on diverse technological approaches. The project's outcomes will adhere to the WHO-ITU Global Standard for Accessibility of Telehealth Services, ensuring comprehensive and accessible telehealth services.
