The COVID-19 Vaccine Reporting and Vaccine Logistics System is a digital health platform based on DHIS2, developed in Bangladesh to enhance the planning and management of the COVID-19 vaccination program. Spearheaded by the MIS-DGHS with UNICEF's assistance, this system allows for real-time tracking of vaccine administration, stock management, distribution, wastage, and overall program performance. As a centralized repository for vaccination data, it supports decision-making at multiple levels—facility, district, divisional, and national. The platform enables timely monitoring of vaccine coverage and supply chain performance, facilitating efficient execution of this significant public health initiative. Key features include tracking vaccine stock levels and distribution, managing logistics, providing real-time dashboards for monitoring, and improving data quality and accountability. This system is essential for evidence-based planning and resource allocation during the pandemic, targeting the general population within health focus areas of emergencies and vaccination/immunization.
