The Tanzania Health Information Architecture features middleware that enables data exchange between nine health information systems utilized by five national and specialized hospitals, as well as legacy systems. This data exchange is supported by an interoperability layer that includes various systems, such as JEEVA, MedPro, Care2x, eLMIS, DHIS2, VIMS, HRHIS, HFR, and EPICOR 9.
