The upSCALE platform includes an interactive smartphone app tailored for community health workers (CHWs) to facilitate various healthcare processes such as patient registration, health checks, diagnosis, treatment, referrals, and follow-ups. This app also automates data compilation for monthly reports, simplifying the submission process to supervisors. Furthermore, a tablet-based application for supervisors aids in enhancing CHW performance and providing feedback. A nationwide scale-up of the platform is planned for 2020, with a focus on key health areas including communicable diseases, maternal and child health, sexual and reproductive health, vaccination/immunization, and health promotion.
