Satellite data is supplied by Charter Members, which include space agencies and operators globally, who collaborate to deliver imagery for disaster response. Additionally, partner organizations enhance the Charter's efforts by providing extra satellite data, executing rapid mapping services, and promoting the Charter's mission internationally. Key statistics include 1,008 activations, 17 Charter Members, and assistance to 146 countries, with beneficiaries across all continents. The initiative boasts a "virtual constellation" of 270 contributing satellites for swift tasking. Overall, the Charter aims to be a leading provider of Earth-observation satellite data, working with experts to produce information that aids disaster relief organizations in protecting lives, property, infrastructure, and the environment in the aftermath of major disasters worldwide.
