Summary
The Non-Discriminating Access for Digital Inclusion (DigI) project, supported by the Norwegian Research Council and Ministry for Foreign Affairs, seeks to improve digital access in rural Tanzania. This pilot program will set up small Wi-Fi hotspots with a 50-meter radius, offering free access to a simplified "Internet lite" and vital health information via fixed tablets or smartphones. The project focuses on key health areas, including environmental health, communicable diseases, maternal and child health, and health promotion.
