SmartDaaS addresses a significant operational gap in HIV programs in sub-Saharan Africa by transforming vast amounts of patient data into actionable outreach plans. While program teams gather extensive data monthly, they often lack the tools to utilize it effectively. SmartDaaS converts routine DHIS2 and EMR exports into a weekly outreach plan that enables field teams to identify priority patients and prevent treatment interruptions. The platform utilizes AI to score patients by risk, provides SHAP explainability for each prediction, and generates PEPFAR-formatted reports with a single click. Its stateless architecture ensures that no patient personally identifiable information is stored, removing barriers related to IRB and data transfer for deployment. By turning routine data into actionable intelligence, SmartDaaS aims to reduce HIV treatment interruptions in PEPFAR-supported programs, targeting adults, health professionals, and both women and men within the focus areas of communicable diseases, sexual and reproductive health, and primary health care.
