Project Mwana is an mHealth initiative aimed at improving health service delivery for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers and their children. It leverages an open-source, real-time platform to support health workers in providing continuous care throughout pregnancy and for the first two years of a child's life. Notable components include RemindMI, which facilitates mobile registration and sends SMS reminders for follow-up care, and Results160, which accelerates the delivery of Early Infant Diagnosis (EID) HIV results through secure SMS or printer technology.
