The MIRA Study App assesses resilience in individuals affected by the 2015 droughts and their responses to related shocks. Through monthly surveys conducted by trained field agents in selected households within targeted regions, the study gathers critical data from sentinel sites in southern Malawi. This data effectively identifies the most food insecure households, facilitating informed targeting to improve food security and nutrition. The study also emphasizes areas of environmental health among other health focus areas.
